This page's intent is to give a quick calculation of the required flow rate needed for fuel injectors on a high performance engine. It is not complicated since it should only be used as a starting guide and not gospel. Enter a value in any of the variable boxes and the flow rate will instantly adjust.
One thing to note about the flow rating that comes out at the bottom, is that it includes compensation for the pressure differential between the rail and manifold. The actual flow of an injector is relatively linear until pressures that approach lockup (this number varies according to the source). Supposedly somewhere in the 80 psi range for good pintle style injectors...possibly less for disk type. Please consult an expert before ordering injectors. This page is just for reference and might not recommend the correct injector for your application.
